Asthma and Respiratory Conditions Bowen Clinic
BOWEN CLINIC FOR ASTHMA AND RESPIRATORY CONDITIONS
at ACE OSTEOPATHS COMPLEMENTARY HEALTH CENTRE304 Ewell Road, Surbiton KT6 7AQ
Tom Bowen's wife suffered from chronic asthma and was often hospitalised; it was this which led Mr Bowen to his therapeutic work, as he searched for some means of helping her. Once he developed the Respiratory Bowen work which we now use today, she never had to go to hospital for this condition again!
It is my experience throughout the 15 years of my Bowen practice, that Bowen is exceptionally successful in the treatment of asthma and other respiratory conditions for people of all ages. Most people who present for Bowen treatment either for asthma itself, for croup, for sinus conditions, for bronchial conditions and for weakness and bronchial instability following pneumonia experience exceptionally fast and unexpected recovery.
The Bowen work we use concentrates on the muscles around the chest and lungs, and if necessary the sinuses. It is gentle and non-invasive, as Bowen always is and it is not unusual for an immediate cessation of coughing or wheezing to be apparent.
There is an emergency release move we make to cut through the onset of an attack and this move we teach to parents and patients which they can then use themselves whilst, if necessary, they call the emergency services. This procedure is quick, simple and effective.
This Bowen Clinic at ACE Osteopaths in Surbiton takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 1.00 - 5.00.
